By now, our skills as
de"text"ives are known far and wide. We are locating and inferring the meanings of words like pros. In celebration of our efforts, we select words
to display on our Vocabulary Word Wall. Some of these words are from our study of the TextTalk series,
while others simply come from class read alouds or student discovery.
Today, in preparation for
an upcoming quiz, students participated in a Pictionary-like review game. As partners, students illustrated a scene
depicting one of our vocabulary words. The class then came together study the clues and infer the answer.
